Cassandra “Sandy” Faye Elliott, age 68 of Winchester, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 05, 2022 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems- Winchester surrounded by her family. She was born in Winchester on August 10, 1954 to the late Thomas and Evelyn (Syler) Elliott, Sr. Sandy was a lifelong member of the Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church on Shephard Street in Winchester. She was retired from Boeing Aerospace in Huntville, Alabama. She enjoyed cooking for her family and crocheting. Sandy loved to travel and take cruises with her friends. Her greatest enjoyment came from her grandchildren, who she loved dearly. Sandy will be remembered as a devoted Christian woman, who had a great sense of humor and was the life of the party. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Anne Elliott Sotherland; sister-in-law, Susie D. Elliott; and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her son, Nicholas “Nick” Elliott; grandchildren, Xavier and Aaliyah Elliott; their mother, Brandi Evans; brothers, Thomas “Sonny” M. (Luba) Elliott, Jr and Gerald Payne Elliott; nieces and nephews, Vincent (Daphne) Elliott, Angela (James) Winton, Dana Marie Elliott, Davina Hamilton, Tonya (Brian) Steele, Thomas (Maya) Elliott, III, Tanassa Pillow, Christopher T. Elliott and Cedric J. Elliott; several devoted great nieces and nephews; loving and devoted cousins, Cissy Holloway, Patti Bean, and Bernadine “Tincy” Compton; special friends, Ruby Taylor, Patricia Reynolds, Wanda Green-Atkins, and Joanne Hill; and several other loving friends and family members. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 11am-1pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held immediately following at 1pm in the chapel of the funeral home.
