Murrel “Jake” Manson, 86, died February 26, 2013. No services will be held. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Manson.

Jake was a good friend and I was saddened to hear of his passing. I will miss him dearly. Jake and Ruth were the first people we met when we moved into the neighborhood in Brooksville Florida. They were holding a yard sale and we stopped in to meet them. We became good friends and Jake even helped us build our house. He showed up for work every day and he was in his 70’s at the time. He worked rings around us. We always told him to be careful or Ruth wouldn’t let him come over and play with us anymore! I also shared a love of gardening with him and have several of his plants that he left me when they moved. So, I guess I still have a little bit of him with me.
