The family of Edward Richard Krauz, age 78, of Trinity, who died Friday, February 22, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, will receive friends on Friday, March 1, 2013, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Krauz was born June 2, 1934, in Berwyn, Ill., to Vaclav Krauz and Rosena Czevakiz Krauz. He was a millwright and retired from GM’s Electromotive Division. Mr. Krauz was a skilled craftsman who enjoyed woodworking, astronomy, fishing and bird watching.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joan Buetow Krauz; three sons, Daniel Krauz (Regina) of Montgomery, Ill., Richard Krauz (Rita) of Decatur and Dale Krauz (Andy) of Bonaire, Ga.; 11 grandchildren, Charity, Christen, David, Nathan, Lydia, Michelle, Mason, Michael, Matthew, Victoria and Matthew; and five great-grand- children, Maddison, Gavin, Danielle, Taylor and Exton.
