Betty Jones
May 1, 1953 – August 31, 2022
On August 31, 2022, Granny went to be with our heavenly Father and moved into her castle in the sky. After battling metastatic lung cancer since December. Granny’s final victory has been won! Because today she is walking streets of gold, whole again with Jesus.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty Ann and Keith Bowersox of Meridianville and Jeannette and Jerry Bryant of Gurley; her son, Bubba Jones of New Market; her grand daughters, Paige and Josh Bishop of New Market, Bailey Bryant of Gurley, Madison Bowersox of Missouri, and Shelby Jones of North Carolina; her grandsons, Houston Bowersox of Meridianville and Hunter Kirby of North Carolina; her great grandchildren, Ramsey Bryant of Gurley, Willow Bishop of New Market, and Idalia Jones of North Carolina; her siblings, Rose Parker of Hobbs Island, Linda and Frank Stewart of Town Creek , Elizabeth Stewart of Town Creek, and Mike and Susan Terrell; her sister-in-law, Donna and Bo Kelton of New Market; and many loved nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Eva Terrell; her husband, Herman Buddy Jones (1995); and her second husband Tracy Boles (2018).
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at New Life Community Fellowship at 950 Butler Road, New Market, Alabama 35761, on September 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM. A meal will follow at 12:00 PM, please bring a supper dish to share.
