Charles “Chuck – Kramer” Fortenberry

Charles “Chuck – Kramer” Fortenberry, age 48 of Hanceville, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born on November 14, 1973 in Birmingham, Alabama to Charles Leroy Fortenberry and Linda Krigel Fortenberry. Chuck worked for Tyson Foods as a truck driver for many years. He was an avid Alabama Football Fan “Roll Tide” and loved trucking and his dog. Chuck and his wife enjoyed going to festivals, fairs, community events, farmer’s markets where he could see his friends and enjoy life. He was a loving husband and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Linda Fortenberry. He leaves to cherish his memory by his wife, Nanette Fortenberry; step son, Bailey Byrd; brothers, Greg and John Fortenberry; niece, Brynlee Faith Fortenberry; a host of other loving family and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jasson Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time on Friday at the funeral home. The family request the in lieu of flowers, donation can be made to either the American Cancer Society or the O’Neal Invest Cancer Center at U.A.B. Hospital.
