Funeral Services for Ms. Katie Scarlett Gordon, age 30 of Sylacauga, will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home of Ashland at 4 P.M. with Rev. Kenneth Neeley and Bro. Chris Sims officiating.
Ms. Gordon passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. Katie Scarlett was born in Ashland, AL on April 13, 1992. She graduated from Clay County High School. She loved being involved in church and was a Sunday school and VBS teacher. She enjoyed playing D&D and loved cosplaying. Her Faith in Jesus could move mountains!
Ms. Gordon is survived by her father Mark Gordon (Lori) of Sylacauga; her fiancé Rocky McDaniel of Sylacauga; her sister Jessica Naugher (Calum); her stepbrother Matt Loughmiller; 2 nieces Kenzie and Lily; 4 nephews Chris, Jordan, Ashton and Bentley, several aunts and uncles and a large extended family.
She is preceded in death by her mother Melanie Webber (Gordon).
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and until service time on Sunday.
