Eddie “Duke” Wayne Beard, Jr., age 54 of Columbia, TN passed away August 19, 2022. Duke was born July 15, 1968 in Williamson County and was the son of the late Eddie Wayne Beard, Sr. and Vivian Crafton. He enjoyed watching football and wrestling. In addition to his parents Duke is preceded in death by stepfather, Robert Allen Crafton; sister, Elizabeth Jennette; grandparents, Leslie and Mary Smith, Sr.; uncles, William “Bill” Smith and Don David Smith. He is survived by his wife, Jennie Hillard Beard; sons, Jimmy Cooper, Travis Cooper, C.J. (Annabelle) Cooper and Joseph (Melissa) Cooper; daughter, Mandy Lopez; sister, Jennifer (Phillip) Martin; aunt, Pat (Gary) Walls; uncle, Leslie Allen (Sherron) Smith, Jr.; eleven grandchildren; nephews, Seth Martin and Jacob Martin; numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Eddie “Duke” Wayne Beard, Jr. Memorial Fund.
