Mary Gray Montgomery, 87, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 at Courtyards Community Living Center, Fulton, MS. She was born in Golden, MS and worked as a waitress. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church since 1946.
Services will be Sunday, August 21, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Barry Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two children – Linda Montgomery and Darrell Montgomery (Brandi); five grandchildren – Suzann Trammell, Daniel Grimes (Chanda), Zachary Grimes (Erica), Katelynn Montgomery and Brayden Montgomery; five great-grandchildren – Noah, Chanlynn, Sadie, Addison and Bennett; son-in-law – Tom Grimes and a sister – Dott Vinson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Montgomery, a daughter, Nancy Grimes, her parents, William Ezekiel “Zeke” and Cecil Long Gray and two brothers, Bill Gray and Harold Gray.
Pallbearers will be Greg Pharr, Woody Watson, Dicky Turvaville, Tony Sparks and Wayne Stanfield.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 21, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
