Graveside Services of Mr. Jimmy E. Morris, age 82 of Cragford, will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Clay County Memory Gardens with Rev. James Owens officiating.
Mr. Morris passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Tallapoosa County but was a lifelong resident in Clay County. He retired after 42 years from the maintenance department in the Russell Manufacturing Plant. Mr. Morris enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Mellow Valley Baptist Church.
Mr. Morris is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Morris; his son, Mike Morris (Candy), both of Cragford; two grandsons: Dylan Morris (Haley) of Lineville and Dalton Morris of Cragford; and one great-grandson, Cole Morris of Cragford.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clatis and Nina Kilgore Morris and his daughter, Shelia Morris.
Active Pallbearers will be Dylan Morris, Dalton Morris, Keith Jordan, Jacob Jordan, Dennis Gautney, and Mike Bailey.
His visitation will take place on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45P.M.
