Betty Hood, age 73 of Haleyville, Alabama, entered into rest Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi
Betty was born on June 18, 1949, in River Rouge, Michigan. Betty had a servant’s heart and was a care giver who loved her family.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home – Haleyville, where the service will be held at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Liberty Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Ronnie Marbutt and Brother C.R. Hood will officiate the service.
Betty is survived by her husband, Terril Hood; daughter, Bryanna (Scott) Tidwell; brother, Robert (Judy) Frazier; step-sister, Sharon (Steve) Spiller; granddaughters, Savanna (Seth) Tidwell, Molly (Ryan) Ingram; great grandchildren, Loryn Ingram, Sade Hayes, Skye Hayes, and Calvin Ingram; and nephews, Wayne (Gina) Frazier and Paul Frazier
She was preceded in death by her father, John Hyde; mother, Josie Hyde; and step-brother, Johnny Hyde.
