Funeral for Gilbert “Bert” Chamberlain, 84, of Hillsboro will be Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel, at 11:00 AM with Bro. Gary Patton, officiating. Burial will be in Midway Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Chamberlain, who died Monday, August 8, 2022, in Huntsville, was born, August 31, 1937, to Earl Chamberlain and Mildred Chamberlain. He was a member of Somerville Road Church of Christ. He retired from the Air Force and worked as an assistant to Dr. William W. Pyron for 22 years. He received a Bronze star and numerous awards while in the Air Force. He loved woodworking, gardening, fishing and family time. He was preceded in death by his parents, son – Paul Chamberlain(baby), sister Lois Chamberlain Goforth
