Funeral services for Ms. Betty Gibson, age 82, are scheduled for 1 PM, Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Cedar Grove Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Pentecostal Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Gibson passed away early Friday at her home in Sardis. She was born October 21, 1939 in Crockett County to the late Henry and Gradie Windberry. She was a retired factory worker and loved going to church. She enjoyed shopping and going to Walmart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Guy Gibson; one son, Tracy Mooney; three brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include her two sons, Tim Mooney (Desi) and Jerry Mooney; her daughter, Deborah Rowland (Jr); eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, 12 – 8 PM and on Sunday 9 Am – 1 PM all at Cedar Grove Pentecostal Church.
