Funeral service for Calvin V. Houser Jr., 68, will be Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Justin Barnett officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, August 1, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Houser died on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at his residence. He was born March 23, 1954, in Lawrence County, to Calvin Varnell Houser, Sr. and Hettie Faye Wilson Houser. He was a United States Veteran, serving in Vietnam, Desert Storm and Desert Shield and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant from the Air Force. He was a Mason and and avid Square Dancer.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother: James K. Houser and a Niece: Joni Kyker.
