Jamey Keith Cummins, age 50, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Spencer Hill Church of Christ with Randy McNeece officiating. Burial will follow in Spencer Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Army. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the church. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
A native of Maury County, Jamey was born on October 7, 1971, and was the son of the late Robert Lee “R.L.” Cummins and the late Shirley Nichols Cummins. He served in the United Sates Army during the Iraq War and was a member of Spencer Hill Church of Christ.
He is survived by his son, Aaron Cummins of Mt. Pleasant and brothers, Danny (Marcia) Cummins of Lynnville and Bob (Kaye) Cummins of Mt. Pleasant.
Pallbearers will be Robbie McKennon, Joe McKennon, Edwin McKennon, Aaron Cummins, Claude Lemay, Daniel Cummins Charles Thompson, and Marky Ragsdale. Honorary pallbearers will include Sam Haywood, Butler Nichols, and Wyatt Cummins.
