Graveside Services for Mr. Gordon Ray Brown, age 57 of Ashland, will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Brown Family Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Fuller officiating.
Mr. Brown passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at his home. A lifelong resident of Clay County, Mr. Brown worked most of his life as a logger, working for various companies. He worked last with Lynn Brown Logging. He enjoyed fishing, watching Nascar, and Alabama Football.
He is survived by two daughters: Sonya Brown of Lineville and Stephanie Bledsoe (Darrin) of Dadeville; two grandchildren: Prinston and Elijah Bledsoe and one on the way; two brothers: Bobby Lynn Brown (Marie) of Wadley and Jacky Brown Sr. (Cindy) of Ashland; plus several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Bobby Joe Brown and Clara Faye Hester Brown; and three brothers: Clinton, Ronny, and Tony Brown.
Active Pallbearers will be Jacky Brown Jr., John David Brown, Darrin Bledsoe, and Daniel Adair.
