Samuel Matias Francisco age 20 of Russellville, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022.
Samuel was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. He was employed by Leisure Creations. He was a 2020 graduate of Russellville High School and a student at Northwest Shoals Community College where he was pursuing his degree in Engineering.
He is survived by his parents, Domingo Matias Jose and Micaela Francisco Franscisco; grandparents, Tomas Francisco Matias, Dolores Jose, Maria Miguel Pascual; brothers, Elias Francisco-Matias, Jeremias Francisco-Matias; sister, Maria Matias-Francisco (Julio Sanchez); girlfriend, Daimar Diaz; fur baby, Sofie, as well as a host of loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends that will miss his energetic attitude and magnetic smile.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Pascual Francisco Matias; and best friend, Wayner Jesus Barrios.
Visitation will be held at Pinkard Funeral home of Russellville on Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 5pm-7pm. An overnight vigil will take place on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1700 N Jackson Ave, Russellville, AL 35653. A funeral service will be held at the church at 10am on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Russellville. Interment will be at Franklin Memory Gardens after the funeral service.
