Judy Vann McClain Pierce, 72, a Huntsville native, passed away on Friday at her home. She was a retired OB/GYN nurse.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Donald McClain; Her parents, Octavia Owens and Jordan Vann; Her sisters: Gertrude Owens, Maxine Vann, and Melba Dean Vann. Her brothers: James Vann, Jordan Vann, and Jerry Vann.
Mrs. Pierce is survived by her husband, Joseph Pierce; Her daughters: Felecia Berryhill (Barry), Shannon McClain (JJ), and Donna Helton (Benny); 4 grandchildren: Donald “D.P.”, Shelby, Brandon, Blake; 3 great-grandchildren: Jordan, Elizabeth, and Kylie. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce Stapler, and a host of other family members and friends.
There will be a graveside service on Tuesday at 1pm at Prospect Cemetery in Fayetteville, Tennessee with Bro. Bobby Burt and Blake Helton officiating.
