John Michael Ertl, 78, of New Market, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022.
Mr. Ertl will be remembered as a comedian by those he loved. He was a huge animal lover, Dale Ernhardt, Sr. fan, and Alabama football fan. He also loved cars.
Survivors include Neva Ertl and April Springer; son, Michael Wharton; grandchildren: Amber, Cody, Chase, Cayden, Avery, Caleb, Sarah, and Ryan; and great-granddaughter, Saylor.
Mr. Ertle was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Sydney Ertl; and brother, Gregory Ertl.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 16th from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home. Service will be at 2:00 with Rev. Tim Cole followed by burial at Maple Hill Cemetery.
