Brenda Joan Hulsey

Age 91, of Greenbrier went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 1, 2022 at her home. She was born February 16, 1931 in Springfield, TN to Samuel & Esmer Warren Mayes. She worked as a cashier for several local grocery stores before her retirement. Brenda enjoyed tending to her flowers, quilting, knitting sweaters and painting. She was a dedicated Christian woman and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She had also enjoyed being a member and participating in the Robertson County Home Demonstration Clubs over the years. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd B. Hulsey; two brothers, Ralph Mayes and Edward Mayes. She is survived by her sons, Gary Hulsey and Randy (Margie) Hulsey, both of Greenbrier, TN; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristy and Shaun; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild on the way. A Graveside service and interment is scheduled for Monday Morning July 4, 2022 at 9am in Mayes Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. There is no public visitation planned.
