Funeral services for Shirley Copley Canada, age 87, will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 2pm at White Hall Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the White Hall Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 12 noon and continuing until service time.
Mrs. Canada, a retired CNA at Trenton Healthcare, was a member of White Hall Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher. She loved to read, cook and spend time with her family.
Mrs. Canada passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Bells Nursing Home.
Mrs. Canada was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Lee Canada; her parents, Herbert and Bonnie Lee (Farmer) Copley; and siblings, Marie Fuchs, Bobbie Louise Copley, Franklin Copley, Bonnie Cunningham, Catherine Stephenson, and Gayle Copley.
Mrs. Canada is survived by, her three children, Ron Canada and wife Myra, Randy Canada and wife Marcia and Mary Canada Lester and husband Don; six grandchildren, Joshua Canada and wife Stephanie, Stephen Canada, Jordan Canada, Kaelan Lester, Taryn Lester, and Haeleah Lester; four great grandchildren, Robert Canada, Addison Canada, Michael Canada, and Jayden Canada; and three siblings, Frances Roland, Brenda Stanek, and Betty Roberson Stephenson and husband Dave.
