Robert “Bob” Leon Davis, age 85, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022 at his residence.
Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. He attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He loved all sports, but especially Alabama Football, Roll Tide.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Mae Thompson Davis; parents, James Wilson & Clima (Roberts) Davis; and brother, Pete Davis.
He leaves to cherish her memory, his children, Sandy Davis Hammond (Junior), Denny Davis (Susan); grandchildren, Robby Hammond (Natalie), Cody Hammond (Kayla), Kyleigh Davis Berry (Eric) and Jake Davis; great-grandchildren, Paizlee Ann Hammond, Scarlett Belle Hammond, Elijah Hammond, Samuel Hammond, and Annsley Mae Berry; siblings, Woody Davis, Betty Newell, Nell Pipkins (Curtis), Glen Davis (Sue) and a host of nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 01, 2022 at Spry Memorial Chapel with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Bro. Tom Johnson will officiate the service. Burial will be at Bethlehem Cemetery with military honors.
The pallbearers will be Robby Hammond, Cody Hammond, Jake Davis, Eric Berry, Wayne Welborn, and Jammie Hall.
