Donna Jo Johnson Terwilliger, age 68, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital. Donna was born February 15, 1954 in Marshall County, Alabama to Bill Johnson and Alene Harrison Johnson. She was formerly a resident of Arab, Alabama and of Florida. She was married to Frank Edward “Eddie” Terwilliger , who preceded her in death 05/05/2011. Donna was of the Baptist faith and attended Hopewell Baptist Church. She worked in the food/restaurant industry. Donna was a non-complicated lady with a big personality. She never met a stranger as all persons became instant friends. She loved to cook, loved the beach in Daytona, and especially loved spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Terwilliger is survived by her children; Lisa Terwilliger, Kristi Witsell (Harold), Stephanie Terwilliger, and Frank Terwilliger; sister, Jan Johnson; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Preceding Mrs. Terwilliger in death are parents; Bill and Alene Johnson; husband, Eddie Terwilliger; daughter, Tracy Terwilliger Simpson; siblings, Diane Johnson, Johnny Johnson and Jerry Johnson.
The funeral service for Mrs. Terwilliger will be on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel in Arab, Alabama. The visitation will be at the Chapel from 12:00 p.m. until the service starts at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Arab Memorial Cemetery. Bro. Randy Blakely will officiate.
