Bernice Banks, age 97 of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Ridgewood Health Services.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Banks was preceded in death by her Parents-Dewey Barton and Luvenia Short; Husband-Zim Banks; Sisters-Clara Benson, Imogene Mann, Velmer Chamless and JoAnn Barton; Son-Wallace Banks; Daughter-Jackie Brown; Granddaughter-Stephanie Mitchell; Great Granddaughter-Jacqueline Brown; Special Family Friend-Terry Hopson.
She is survived by her Daughter-Patricia White (Jim); Sons-Wayne Banks (Ruth) and Larry Banks (Sue); Sisters-Pearlie Pickard and Faye Thrasher; Brothers-Edward Barton and Barthel Barton; 16 Grandchildren; 32 Great Grandchildren; 20 Great-Great Grandchildren.
