William Gene Ellis, age 86 of Townley, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at his residence in Townley, Alabama.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Enon Missionary Church Baptist Cemetery.
Bill was preceded in death by his Father-William Amos Ellis; Mother-Lanta Minnie Dodd Baird; Brothers-Olga Lomaxx Jack “Buddy” Burns and William Earl Ellis; Sisters-Barabara K. Kelley and Ganelda Lenora Burns; Son-Donald Wayne Ellis; Grandchildren-Kevin and Wendy Ellis; Great Grandson-Tyler Pennington.
Bill is survived by his Daughter-Joyce Freeman and her husband Leo; Grandddaughters-Chrissy Estes (Johnny) and Kim Pennington (Nathan); Great Grandchildren-Trevor Butler, Caitlynn Butler, Ella Estes, Emily Pennington and Brooklyn Pennington; Great Granddaughter-Madelyn Butler.
