David Smith, 63 of Walnut, MS, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 at his residence. He was born September 20, 1959 in Arkansas to James Floyd Smith and Minnie Lou Priest Smith. He was a construction worker and of the Baptist faith. He loved fishing and watching television. David is survived by his daughter, Kayla Smith; 2 grandchildren; his brothers, Jerry Smith, Pete Smith, Anthony Smith and wife Tabitha and Rickey Smith; his sisters, Linda Smith, Glenda Smith, Joyce Spencer and husband Danny and Anna Elizabeth Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Floyd Smith and his mother, Minnie Lou Priest Smith. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. David Smith.
