Funeral service for Ronald G. Beavers, 63, will be Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Greg Compton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Beavers died on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at his residence. He was born Friday, June 3, 1949, in Lauderdale County to Hardie Coleman Beavers and Mary Emogene (Thigpen) Beavers. Ron was a retired school teacher, who taught at Mt. Hope and Speake Schools for a total of thirty-nine years. Teaching was his joy. He was a loving husband and father and a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and music director. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Mt. Nebo Baptist Church or Hospice of the Valley.

Two Daughters: Bethany Beavers Smitherman, (Jarrod), Cullman, AL and Emily Beavers Bryan (Joshua), Eva, AL
Two Brothers: Gary Beavers, (Connie), Lexington, AL and Mickey Beavers, (Rhonda), Rogersville, AL
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Beavers, Parker Beavers, Blake Killen, Trent Beavers, Mitchell Beavers, and Garrett Beavers.
