Wilson Wayne Nevels 70, of Toney, AL passed away on Saturday May 14, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Frances, his 2 chihuahuas; Peaches and Bambi, 2 daughters; Brenda Smith of GA and Christine Wilson, Brother WJ Durrance of FL, 3 granddaughters; Amanda, Sara, and Nicole, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 granddaughter on the way. Wayne served proudly in the United States Navy and worked on Redstone Arsenal for several years in charge of the self help center. He was an avid Alabama football fan and had the “gift of gab” making anyone comfortable when he was around. The family will be holding Private service’s on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the home of daughter Christine Wilson
