Ms Margaret Ann Waldrop Ms. Margaret Ann Waldrop of Arab, Alabama passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 at the age of 76 years. Ms. Waldrop was born December 19, 1945 to Marcus and Mary Thompson Marsh. Ms. Waldrop was a life long resident of the Arab area. She retired from the Arab City School System after many years working at Arab High School in the cafeteria/lunch room.
Margaret was a faithful member of Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church. She thoroughly loved her work at the school and her involvement in its many activities. She also enjoyed her part time work as an Avon representative, getting acquainted with and making new friends. Margaret was also an active member of the Eastern Star Amanda King Chapter #472.
Ms. Waldrop leaves behind to celebrate her life her son, Mickey D. Waldrop (Jana), sisters, Peggy Sparks (Gene), Sue Skelton, Barbara Jo Dobbs (Danny), Anna Belle Thomas (Bobby); grandchildren, Kaleigha Cramer, Seth Moore, Lane Waldrop and Ezra Cramer.
Ms. Waldrop is at last reunited with her husband, Doyce Waldrop (DOD 12/2/12) as well as her parents, Marcus and Mary Marsh; daughter, Judy Carol Waldrop; brothers, Cecil Marsh, Donnie Marsh, and Thomas Marsh.
A Visitation Service will take place Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Arab, Alabama from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Service to take place Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Arab, Alabama at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Matt Jordan and Bro. J. T. Scott officiating.
Interment to follow services immediately at the Rocky Mount Cemetery, Arab, Alabama.
Pallbearers escorting Ms. Waldrop to her final resting place will be: Seth Moore, Chris Sparks, Ronnie Marsh, Clay Staton, Kolby Cantrell, and Kenneth Putnam.
