Talton “Buddy” Zills, age 71, of Sheffield died Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Visitation will be Friday, 5-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Danny Russell and Stanley Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Mr. Zills was a Colbert County native and a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Reba Zills, his father, Albert Zills, grandson, Todd Zills and great granddaughter, Chassidy Zills.
He is survived by his sons; Anthony Zills(Sandy), Andy Zills (Darnell), Kelvin Zills (Sheila), Chris Zills and Greg Zills(Danielle), daughters; Kristy Dillard(Javier), Stacie Tank (Robert), brothers; Carl Zills (Loudean), Jo Alton Zills, sisters; Madgie Tidwell and Suzanne Richards, fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Swade Howard, Bill Cassady, Jason Tidwell, Carl Zills, Mike Dunn and John Waldon.
