Betty Lynn Wheeler, 78 of Hazel Green, passed away on May 3, 2022.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joe Wheeler; her son, Joey Wheeler (Kristin); two grandchildren, Grayson Wheeler and Denver Wheeler; three cousins, Jenny Lynn Taylor, Barbara Gay Tadlock, and Tina Marie Sexton.
Mrs. Wheeler was preceded in death by her parents Conley and Gladys Scott.
She is a graduate of UAB School of Nursing. Mrs. Wheeler worked for the Madison County Health Department for 35 years. She was a member of Flint River Baptist Church.
In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to New Lease on Life.
Visitation will be at Berryhill Funeral Home Friday, May 6, 2022 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Services will follow with Dr. Al Long and Reverend Steve Bell officiating. Internment will be at Valhalla Cemetery in Huntsville.
