Evelyn Marie Herndon, age 52, a resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held on May 10th from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on July 12, 1969, Eufaula, Alabama, Evelyn was the daughter of Gerald Rudolph Herring and the late Mary Lee Herring Holley. Affectionally known by many as “Momma Evelyn,” she was a very loving, caring, and compassionate person who would help anybody she could.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Herndon, Jr. of Lawrenceburg, children, Jennifer Herndon (Shannon Cotton) of Lawrenceburg, Christopher Lee Herndon of Lawrenceburg, Cheyenne Hurst of Lawrenceburg, brothers, Thomas (April) Herring, Anthony Herring, best friend, Denise Hurst, and a grandchild on the way.
Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Dean “Chickie” Jaco.
