Roger Larnell Moore, age 63, of Hohenwald, Tennessee, passed from this life April 23, 2022 at the Lewis County Nursing Home at the late hour of 10:07 PM. Roger had been battling Cancer for almost a year.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil B. Moore, Sr and Mary Annette (Patrick) Moore and older brother, Cecil Burnell Moore, Jr.
Roger is survived by his son, Roger Dale Moore of Somerset, Pennysylvania; his siblings, Saundra Annette (Hubert) Wallace of Dayton, TN, Carl Rae (Christine) Moore of Crivitz, Wisconsin, Dale Robert (Sheila) Moore of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Pearl Alice “Pam” (David) Lasater, Debbie Lynn Skelton, Daplas Carolyn Moore, and Tony Edward Moore all of Hohenwald, Tennessee.
Roger is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins in several states. There will be no memorial ceremony as of yet. If one is planned later, family and friends will be notified of a time, date and location. He is to be cremated by Heritage Funeral Services of Columbia, TN.
Roger was born in Ocala, Florida in 1958. He was an artist, mechanic, and loving father. His whole life revolved around his son, Dale. He had lived in Arkansas for about 7 years and then moved to Somerset, Pennsylvania. He later moved back to Hohenwald, Tennessee, which had been his home town since 1973. Roger has made his journey home and will be greatly missed by all his family.
