Age 83 of Goodlettsville went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at his home. He was born February 27, 1939 in Miami, FL to Jacob Ludwig and Louise Dora Beil Nold. He attended Miami Technical High School, where he received a degree in Diesel Mechanics. He later received an Associates Degree from Gwinett Technical College in Warehouse Management. He worked as a warehouse manager for Convergent Media before his retirement. Mr. Nold enjoyed woodworking, working on cars and was a handyman of all trades. He had served as a deacon for Decatur Heights Baptist Church in Decatur, GA before retiring to Hopkinsville, KY. He and his wife moved to Tennessee in 2019.. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jacob Arno Nold; sister, Elise Charlotte Marie Nold. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth Nold, Goodlettsville, TN; daughter, Christine (Kevin) Holler, White House, TN; granddaughter, Caitlyn Elise Holler, White House, TN; nephews, David (Joann) Nold and Timothy (Brenda) Nold, both of Rockford, IL; 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. This obituary will be updated when arrangements are finalized. In lieu of flowers family is requesting donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
