Funeral Services for Mrs. Patsy Anna Davidson, age 73 of Delta, will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Bethel (North) Baptist Church with Bro. James Benefield officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel (North) Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Davidson passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 at the UAB Hospital. Born in Clay County, Mrs. Davidson was a graduate of Lineville High School and achieved her associated degree in Computer Science from Ayers College. She worked for 25 years in the Calhoun County Courthouse as an administrative Assistant. Outside of work, she enjoyed crocheting and knitting, gardening and watching TV. She also loved being around and playing with her grandchildren and taking care of her many cats and dogs. Mrs. Davidson was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was a member of Bethel North Baptist Church in Delta.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Brenford Davidson of Delta; three daughters: Jo Davidson (Allen Dusault) of Libertyville, Illinois, Delaina Bachus (Charles) of Delta, Kristi Davidson (Rawn Yates) of Oxford; 5 grandchildren: Jeremy Turley(Jessica), Jessica Hindman (Ray), Jodi Turley, Jacob Bachus, Bryce Dusault; 2 great grandchildren, Bailey and Paisley Hindman, and some extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willard James and Annie Jo Cheatwood Gallegly; one daughter, Tammy Davidson Turley, and her maternal grandparents, A.P. and Zether Cheatwood.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Her visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville. She will lie in state on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Bethel (North) Baptist Church from 1:00 until service time at 2:00.
