Robert Lee Sartin, age 76 of Bear Creek, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022, at his residence.
He was born on September 9, 1945 in Marion County, Alabama. Robert loved working on his lawn mowers and in his shop. He also loved listening to county music and gospel music on the radio. Robert was a truck driver for 35 years.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 2:00pm at New Bethel Cemetery in the Wiley Branch Community, where the burial will follow. Sam Heath will officiate.
Robert is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce Ann Sartin; daughter, Lesa (Sam) Heath; son, Scotty (Jennifer) Sartin; grandsons, Justin Sartin, Brent Sartin, Samuel Heath, and Anthony Sartin; granddaughters, Tayra Sartin, Lakesha Sartin, Brandy Dye, and Brandy Stevens; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Sartin; parents, Jim and Floy Sartin; mother-in-law, Lillie Partain; brothers, Jimmy Sartin, Doris Sartin, Larry Sartin, and Charles Edward; and sisters, Evelyn Robinson, Avalee Burleson, and Linda Presley.
