Graveside services for Avery Lee Davis, 80 of Counce, TN are set for Friday, April 15, 2022 at 2pm at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Counce. Bro. Paul Childers will officiate the service. Born September 4, 1941 in Swedeborg, MO ., Avery passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2022 at Hardin County Medical Center in Savannah. He was a retired supervisor at Shiloh Ridge and a member of New Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed camping, fishing, working in his yard and gardening. Avery is survived by his sons, Chris Davis and wife Chasity, Charlie Davis and wife Mary and Tony Mathis and wife Carol; 4 grandchildren, Jackson Davis, Katie Lynn Davis, Adriana Willis and Gary Blystone; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Johnny Davis and wife Margaret; special friend, Janette Barber; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Billie Diane Davis; father, Charles Davis and wife Neva; mother, Lena Stumbaugh and husband Donald; brother, Greg Davis and sister, Shirley Keasling.
