Peter John Stack, 61 of Athens, Alabama, died Saturday, April 9, 2022 at his residence.
There will be a 11am Memorial Service Saturday at Spry Funeral Home in Athens and visitation is from 10:30 until service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Stack was born January 12, 1961 in Pensacola, Florida, he was a member of Grace Community Church in Statesboro, Georgia and he was employed by Sev 1 Tech in Huntsville, AL.
Survivors: Wife: Terri Stack of Athens; Sons: Ryan Stack of Greenville, NC and Michael Stack of Quakertown, PA; Daughters: Melissa Maxwell of Huntsville, AL and Chloe Stack of Kennesaw, GA; Father: Thomas Stack of Doylestown, PA; Brothers: John Stack of Chester, CT and Mike Stack of Tucson, AZ; Sister: Maria Dreyer of Chalfont, PA; Grandchildren: Blake Stack and Michael Stack Jr.
Pete loved his job and loved sharing his excitement and passion for engineering. We would like to honor his memory by supporting future engineers.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to U.S. Space & Rocket Center Education Foundation in memory of Peter Stack to support future Aerospace Engineers.

I shared an office with pete’s for 5 years at Gulfstream Aerospace. I can say i was his admin without him ever admitting to it. However, i helped him whenever i could. Pete was a quiet and easy going man. Didn’t want much and didnt say much until he got to trust you. We shared family stories and talked golf alot. He would give you the sweetest smile when he talked about the kids. . I have so many personal memories of pete. I knew when he was having a good day or if his day wasn’t going so well. I learned his unspokem words just from being in his presence. He gentle spirit will be missed. You were 👍 with me buddy….
