Funeral service for Louie Harbison, 91, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 6th, 2022 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Robert Lancaster officiating.  Visitation will be from 12-2 prior to the service.

 

Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the Harbison family.

 

Mr. Harbison passed away Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 at his residence.  He was born July 16, 1930 to Elmer T. & Ethel Dora Bates Harbison.  He was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church for many years; served his country in the United States Air Force and was retired from civil service.  Louie loved bluegrass music and played the mandolin since childhood.  He was a famous tea cake maker, gardening was his passion and being a BFF to his wife, Frances was his focus in life.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 67 years, Frances Harbison; infant son, Dudley Harbison; brothers, Chalmer Harbison, Elwin Harbison.

 

Survivors include his son, Brian (JoAnn) Harbison; daughter, Cheryl (William) Chapman; brother, Leo Harbison; grandson, Andrew Chapman; nieces, nephews, family and friends.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests making donations to the Traveling Saints Bus Fund at St Andrews Methodist Church.
