Freddie Delane Courington, age 45 of Berry, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 at UAB Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Alta Baptist Church, he will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Alta Baptist Cemetery. Eric Milligan will officiate.
Mr. Courington was preceded in death by his Father-Daniel Courington; Mother-Thelma Taylor Courington; Sisters-Christina Courington, Bonnie Courington, Anna Courington, Donna Swindle and Tracie Hookey; Brother-Danny Courington.
He is survived by his Sisters-Teresa Lusco (James), Kayla Brown (Dakota), Brenda Dark (Joey) and Patricia Knight (late Ricky); Brothers-Joseph Courington (Jeanette) and Willie Hood (Hailey); Host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joe Courington, Dakota Brown, Willie Hood, James Lusco, Timothy Bickerton, Walter Taylor and Cecil Wade.
