Bennett Wilmore McNutt, 82 of Haleyville, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Helen Keller Hospital.
Wilmore was born on March 8, 1940 in Russellville, Alabama. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church #2 in Haleyville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 2-3pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be at 3pm. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church #2 Cemetery. Brother Joe Spiller will officiate.
Wilmore is survived by his daughters, Amanda McNutt and Misty McNutt; 3 grandsons, Dustin (Selena) Benefield, Hunter Jordan and Case Jordan;; 3 great grandchildren, Hayden, Knox and Naomi Benefield; sister, Carolyn Cochran; and aunt, Virginia Burleson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Lucille McNutt.
