Mrs. Kimberly Burks "Kim" StephensonMrs. Kimberly Burks “Kim” Stephenson of the Brashiers Chapel Community in Arab, Alabama; passed away on Wednesday – March 16, 2022 at the age of 40 years.

Mrs. Stephenson was born on June 5, 1981 to Curtis Dale Burks and Michelle Ann Smith in Etowah County, Alabama. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, computer games, helping people in need and loving on her dog ‘Freya’.

Kimberly is survived by her; mother, Michelle Ann Smith Bishop; step-father, William “Bill” Bishop; best friend, Jeremy Martin; grandfather, Thomas H. Smith; dog, Freya; sisters, Kristy Batista (Ricky) and Dawn Howell (David); as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Stephenson is preceded in death by her; father, Curtis Dale Burks; grandmother, Mary Frances “Fran” Smith; grandparents, Edward & Thelma Burks and Hoyt & Irene Bishop.

A visitation will be held at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Sunday –March 20, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Funeral service will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial chapel on Sunday – March 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Randy L. Blakely, officiating.

Interment to follow services immediately at the Brashiers Chapel Cemetery in Arab, Alabama.

Pallbearers escorting Mrs. Stephenson to her final resting place will be: Will Batista, Logan Andrews, Jordan Howell, Jeremy Martin, Seth Miller and Alex Pondick.

In Lieu of Flowers the Family of Mrs. Kimberly will accept arrangements but request that donations be made to Shepherds Cove Hospice.
