Mr. James Worden Bozeman, 87, of Tuscumbia, passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013. His family will receive friends for visitation on Monday evening, Feb. 11, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. The funeral will begin Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Bozeman was a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church in Tuscumbia, Ala., for over 60 years. He was also aWorld War II veteran of Gen. George S. Patton’s 3rd Army, where he was presented The Bronze Star.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Jane Bozeman, daughter-in-law, Sandra Bozeman, brother, Jesse Hester, and sister, Gladys Harris.
He is survived by his wife of 67 wonderful years, Bernice Bozeman; sons, Jimmy Gerald Bozeman (Linda), Jack David Bozeman, and Alan Wright Bozeman (Lauren); grandchildren, Shannon Moeller, Angela Wright, Rachel Shepherd, Michelle Zakeri, Colton Bozeman, Caleb Bozeman, Jason Bozeman and Mark Walker; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Bozeman, Colton Bozeman, Caleb Bozeman and Charlie Shelton.
