Ollie Fay Wood, age 82, Haleyville, AL. passed away Saturday March 5, 2022 at her home. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Haleyville, AL., retired from Piggly Wiggly in Haleyville, AL having worked there over 30 years.
Visitation will beheld on Wednesday March 9, 2022 from 1:00PM – 2:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 2:00PM in the chapel, with Bro. Ronnie Melvin officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Kaelin and Tammy (Yo) Williamson; sister, Carolyn (Oscar) Miles; granddaughter, Amanda Fay Ward; great granddaughter, Ameena Fay Ward; a host of nieces, nephews,, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus Garland Guthrie and Cora May Berry Guthrie; sister, Rose (James) Davis; brother, James “Buddy” Guthrie; daughter, Wanda Wood; husband George Wood.
