MSGT (Ret. USAF) Bobbye Glenn Sturdivant, age 75 of Pleasant View, TN passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 in Nashville, TN. Funeral Service will be 2pm, Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier with Pastor Edwin Buckham officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends 10am until the hour of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born August 29, 1946 in West Monroe, LA to the late Odie Lee and Eula Mae Morris Sturdivant. He was also preceded in death by brothers, William Sturdivant, Charles Sturdivant and a sister, Charlotte Fuller.
He was a Veteran of the USAF having served 22 years and receiving numerous decorations, badges, medals and citations for his service to his country. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He attended the Pleasant View Methodist Church. He loved his family first and foremost and also enjoyed traveling, cruising, music, reading and square dancing.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Ann Eidson Sturdivant of Pleasant View; son, James (Carol) Sturdivant of Great Falls, MT; daughter, April (John) Brewer of Kalispell, MT; brother, Chris Sturdivant of Rayville, LA; grandchildren, Matthew Sturdivant, Kayleen Hill, Deborah Sturdivant, Cameron Brewer, Kyle Brewer; 7 great-grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and great-nephews and great-nieces.
