George Kertice Wilson, age 89 of Huntland, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Tennessee State Veteran’s Home in Murfreesboro. He was born in Kilgore, Texas on September 27, 1932, to the late George K. and Emma (Turner) Wilson. George was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean War. He worked as a Trailways bus driver for several years before driving a truck as a private carrier. In his spare time, George enjoyed fishing. He will be remembered for his gentle nature and for always being a true gentleman. He attended Greenhaw Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his first wife, Loretta; son, Ted; and brother, Matthew Wilson. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-four years, Patricia Dotson Wilson of Huntland; three daughters and sons-in-law; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
