Robert Karl Wright, 66, of Fort Payne, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at his home. He was born March 29, 1955 to the late Bill and Pauline Wright. Karl was a graduate of Jacksonville State University and owned and operated Soft Touch Hosiery. He was a member of White Hall United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 3rd at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Douthit and Thomas Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. hour of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Robert Karl Wright Memorial Endowed Scholarship, c/o Scholarship Department, PO Box 861928, Tuscaloosa, AL 35486.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn Casey Wright; son Derrick Rogers and wife Rachael; and was PawPaw to Sara and Averi Rogers.
