Ruby Nicole “Coley” Byrd, age 36, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at her residence in Culleoka, Tennessee.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 1:00 PM with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Johnsons Chapel Cemetery. A visitation will also be held on Thursday, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Coley was born on December 24, 1985, in Maury County, and was the daughter of Reba Humphrey Owens and Ronnie Ray Byrd. She was a 2004 graduate of Culleoka School and took some writing classes at Columbia State Community College. She enjoyed writing poems and playing the guitar. She was a sports fanatic and often enjoyed playing softball, basketball, and volleyball. Above all, Coley loved spending time with her family, especially her mother and her “Lil Red.”
She is survived by her mother, Reba Humphrey (Chris Collins) Owens, father, Ronnie Ray Byrd, son, Hunter Bolton, siblings, Callie Owens, Greg Byrd, Jeremy Byrd, Kayla Byrd, Tiffany Byrd, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
