Easter Belle Jarnigan Lyle, 96, died Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Russellville Hospital. She was born in Russellville, AL and worked as an inspector for Dow Chemical and as a seamstress at Lance Garment. She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
Services will be Friday, February 18, 12 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Greg Beasley and Bro. Jackie Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Dempsey Cemetery, Russellville, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by one son – Glen Jarnigan (Elline); one daughter – Fredia Kirby (Rickey); two grandsons – Randy Jarnigan (Karla) and Michael Jarnigan (Amy); two great-grandchildren – Camron and Alex Jarnigan and her nieces and nephews that she loved.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Floyd Oneal Jarnigan and Joseph Lyle, her parents, Louis and Beulah Posey Richardson and four sisters, Ora B. Taylor, Lora M. Jarnigan, Mildred Kuykendall and Lois M. Taylor.
Pallbearers will be Camron Jarnigan, Alex Jarnigan, Doyle Taylor and Michael Jarnigan.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Jerry Williams, Dr. Jeremy Thompson, Dr. John Almirol, staff and nurses at Russellville Hospital and staff, nurses and therapy at Terrace Manor.
Visitation will be Friday, February 18, 11-12 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
