Vivi Luik, 89, of Meridianville, was born in Tartu, Estonia. God called her on February 8, 2022 after He had miraculously saved her and her mother, father, sisters and brother while escaping from the second Soviet invasion of Estonia in September 1944. After a short stay in Sweden and Canada, she arrived in the US to marry Luik for 63 more blessed years.
She will be forever remembered by her three very successful children: Desiree, Linda and Paul.
After becoming a US citizen, an expert in computer programming and obtaining Secret Clearance, she was employed at Lockheed Martin until her retirement in February 2018 when she founded and became President of Teaching Factory, Inc.
She set the mission for Teaching Factory to encourage and enable young people, in a relatively short time, to become experts in using computer-controlled production machines and thereafter owners of their own high technology manufacturing businesses.
God gave her enough time on this earth to prove that what she started has a potential to success and should be continued.
Young people must be given the opportunity to become all that they can and patriotic to defend this country against today’s tyrants of Hitler and Stalin-kind, who are armed with thermonuclear bombs which can kill 120 million Americans in an hour.
This generation of young Americans can stop them if given a chance to learn and to produce the best possible weapons system for the defense of the United States and thereby save the world from a repeat of the Dark Ages.
Now she is watching from heaven to see and hope that the future managers of Teaching Factory have sufficent wisdon to know how to help this generation make America Greater Than Ever.
No services are planned. Berryhill Funeral Home assisted the family.
