Mr. James “Jim” Wesley Miller, age 79, of Cordova went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 11, 2022. He was a member of Long Memorial United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Bell Sumiton Chapel. Lee Witherington will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until time of services. Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 18, 2022 at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne T. Miller; father, Donald Leroy Miller; mother, Margaret Lucille Newbold; brothers, Donald Striker and Fred Lovejoy; and sister, Donna Miller.
He is survived by his daughters, Sheila Jackson of Cordova, AL and Kathy Crauswell of Cordova, AL; sister, Jane Spencer (Danny) of Beaverton, MI; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of stepchildren, step grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
